Financial sustainability

We maintain a strong financial position and look for innovative strategies to ensure long term sustainability.

  • A partnership with global infrastructure investor Invesis for long term capital investment
  • Established and operationalised special purpose vehicles for project delivery that safeguard Bridge’s existing portfolio
  • Building in-house capacity through a growing team with expertise across financial strategy, investment and project finance

ESG impact

We pride ourselves on our environmental, social and governance framework, embedding this in our operations and partnerships.

  • Launched a new Environmental Action Plan with an ambitious target to retrofit 30% of our homes by 2030
  • Progressed our second Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, with 85% of actions complete or in progress
  • Consulted with 70+ residents to understand their sustainability priorities

Managing change and building resilience

We take a long-term view to protect and grow our business to continue changing lives. We anticipate and prepare for change in the funding, regulatory and physical environments and have been early and voluntary adopters of reporting ESG and Modern Slavery

Impact Stories

$25M CBA facility unlocks faster housing delivery

With a rapidly increasing number of growth opportunities facing us than ever before, it’s critical we have immediate access to capital to progress time sensitive initiatives.

Our $25m working capital facility with the Commonwealth Bank/CBA provides immediate access to cash – from sales deposits to upfront development costs. This unlocks new projects, giving us the time to finesse our financial strategy and bring in the right long-term investment partners, while moving quickly to turn the opportunity into a reality.

As with all our partnerships, the Working Capital Facility is underpinned by an alignment of values as the CBA’s first ESG linked facility with a community housing provider.

We are proud to partner with values aligned capital to deliver more homes now and into the future.

Improving customer experience through the Care Hub

The Customer Care Hub is Bridge Housing’s centralised service platform designed to deliver responsive, compassionate, and efficient support to residents. Started in November 2024, the model responded to feedback from residents who wanted a one stop shop for simple queries.

Acting as a single point of contact, the Care Hub streamlines communication and resolves enquiries at first contact, allowing Housing Managers to spend more time out and about visiting residents.

The Care Hub lays a foundation for quality, resident-centred service delivery as we grow by offering an easily scalable customer interface.

Bridge Housing acknowledges the Gadigal, Darug, Bidjigal and Gai-mariagal people as the traditional owners of the lands on which we work, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Always was, always will be, Aboriginal Land.
